In 1997, Fumari opened the first hookah lounge in San Diego, CA with a mission to share the hookah culture across Southern California.
In 2002, Fumari.com was launched making Fumari tobacco and hookah products available to homes beyond Southern California. The mission to share the hookah culture now had no boundaries. Fueled with insight into customer tastes, Fumari began innovating their own tobacco flavors. Some of these flavors, like Lemon Mint, White Gummi Bear, Spiced Chai and Ambrosia, have become global bestsellers.
Today, Fumari is still in San Diego, California, where they produce and pack their premium hookah tobacco. From under that same roof, all teams, from R&D to Sales to Shipping, work side-by-side to provide the best customer support and ensure flavors are always available, fresh, and ready to ship to any corner of the globe.
